As part of phenomenon in civil service, the National Youth Services Corps (NYSC) Borno State Chapter has witnessed a change of leadership where Comrade Mohammed Adamu Jiya takes over the mantle of leadership in the state.

Comrade Jiya while speaking during the handing over event which held at the Federal Secretariat Complex, Maiduguri on Thursday.
Jiya expressed his delight over the successes recorded by his predecessor where he described him as exceptional leader worthy of emulation , he then promised to build on the legacies he has achieved.
The new State Coordinator Comrade Jiya who was the immediate past NYSC Bayelsa State Coordinator before his new posting.
On his administration policy, Comrade Jiya promised an open door policy and then seek for maximum support and cooperation from Staff.
In his words, “We are all change agents, so let’s continue to put our heads together to lift the secretariat to an enviable heights , and this would only be achieved through your maximum support and cooperation,” he assured.
Earlier in his remarks, the outgone Coordinator, Nura Umar thanked and appreciated all members of staff for the support rendered to him during his stewardship.

He described it as memorable one which provided him with the golden opportunity to salvage the operations of the Scheme from collapse and brought the secretariat to its past glory as among the best ranked NYSC secretariat before the advent of insurgency.
Nura Umar urged members of staff to extend high level of support given to him to his predecessor so as to continue building on the good legacies the secretariat has been enjoying from its critical stakeholders in the state since his assumption into office
In his farewell message on behalf of management and members of staff , Mr Haruna Buba Kwajaffa ( Assistant Director , Human Resource Management ) extol the virtue of the outgone Coordinator as meticulous and dedicated leader that lifted the secretariat to an enviable heights.
Mr. Kwajaffa pledged maximum support to the new Coordinator by all members of staff for him to achieve the mandate assigned to him.
