Don’t allow PDP to get 5 per cent of the vote in Borno- Ashemi

The Borno State Coordinator Stakeholders Relations Directorate of All Progressive Party(APC), Ahmed Ashemi has reiterated that the ruling party in the state would not allow the opposition party to get 5 per cent of the votes they had in the 2019 general elections. 

Ashemi stated this during the formal inauguration of Presidential Campaign Council Stakeholders Relations Directorate members in Maiduguri on Sunday where he urged the stakeholders to ensure APC get 96 per cent of the total vote in the forthcoming election.

He noted that SenatorsTinubu/Shettima have paid their dues in their various and everyone could tell and attest to their attendance.

“This is our project, we must deliver and the election is not won on social media; We must all go back to the grassroots to mobilise for votes.

“Don’t allow them to even per cent5 per cent they got in the last general elections. We must tell you that we are more serious and ready to renew the hope of Nigeria.

“You all know that it is duty bound on all of us to ensure that we don’t allow PDP to get more cent5 per cent of votes, we need to support our own, they are looking for 25 votes but don’t allow them.” He warned.

Earlier, the ex-National Secretary of All Progressives Party, Arch Bulama Waziri told the stakeholders that they should work hard to ensure delivers at least 1.6 million votes for the APC during the presidential election.

He said,” PDP had 5 per cent of the vote in the last election, Peter Obi factors should make APC get more votes, please don’t let them get what they are looking for. We must deliver 100 per cent, it is but possible, this is not the time to lose guard.”Waziri said.
