I will prioritise human development in Borno- Jajeri

The Borno State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  Mohammed Ali Jajari has pledged to address the challenges faced in the state with a unique approach through women empowerment and reduce the number out-of-school children if elected next month in the state.

Jajeri made this assurance when he featured on a programme ‘Borno Know Your Candidates’ organised by the Peace Ambassadors Centre for Humanitarian Aid and Empowerment PACHE and partners in Maiduguri on Tuesday.

He said the problems of Borno state were not building houses, but rather human development which was urgently needed to fix the problem bedevilled the state.

He explained that the state has the best brains scattered abroad and promised to bring technocrats and professionals to restore the state to the path of greatness.

“I will work closely with our elders, women and youths, we have many best brains all over the world, and I will bring them so that together we can restore the lost glory of Borno state.

“The issue is not given to a certain percentage of the positions to women, if I am elected I will empower women, and they will be given a voice in my government to provide solutions to the problems. 

“I will work closely with Federal Government and International Partners to ensure we provide jobs employment to our teeming youths, to address insecurity, and supports girls’ child education and this can only be done when we have quality and qualified teachers.

” We will revive the agricultural sectors to ensure we have the necessary tools for the mechanism of agriculture. It is possible and it is doable. It will be given the utmost attention if I am elected.” He assured.
