The Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Borno Council, Comrade Dauda Iliya has approved the appointment of Audu Kurama as the Senior Special Assistant to the state council on New Media.
In a statement by the Council scribe, Chiroma Ali Ibrahim confirmed this development in Maiduguri on Saturday.
The statement read, “The Chairman Borno state council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Comrade Dauda Iliya has approved the appointment of AUDU ABBA KURAMA As Senior Special Assistant on New Media of NUJ Borno Council.
“With this appointment you are expected to bring to bear your wealth of experience in repositioning the Union.
“Once again Congratulations on your well merited appointment.” The statement concluded.
